If you want to email someone such as LoCad just click on the little white envelope underneath their avatar and it will open an email with their email address on it.

Geoff, Locadd has his email address hidden, so regular users cannot see it.

As an admin you can, but not the rest of us.

I would recommend staying away from these guys - very shady operation.  I had tried to buy an armrest for my '61 Coupe de Ville, and asked if they could email me a pic of the part since I had previously bought 2x unseen, and both were the wrong part, and I wanted to see the condition of the part. The said "sure, no problem". 2 weeks went by, I had called 2-3 times only to be told to "be patient".  Called again, and they had shipped the part, added a ridiculous shipping fee, and then I find that they had billed my credit card the 1st day I called.  Oh, and the part sucked.  Now they want a 25% restocking fee, and we're at war.  RUN AWAY.

#1 rule, always use a credit card.
#2, never give the number until you are certain you want to order something.

If they object to either, I don't do business with them.

Kenny, contact the CC and tell them that they charged your card without permission, ie. dispute the charge. The CC should reverse the charges. If not, time to find a different card. Be sure to let them know why you are closing the account too. Often they will "make things right" to keep you as a customer. Then change cards anyway as you don't want to rely on their good will.

Well look at that, they advertise in Hemmings.
http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/partsforsale/cadillac/unspecified/936525.html

Cadillac King serving the Cadillac family of collectors with expertise and experience, in business since 1986. Huge inventory of cars & parts, 2 locations, over 20 acres. 9840 San Fernado Rd, Pacoima, CA 91331, 1-818-890-0621; eldorado@gte.net; www.cadillacking.com

Why is that important?  Because you should contact Hemmings Customer Service Dept and explain the situation.
Hemmings will in turn contact Caddy King and suggest that they resolve the matter.
Enough complaints against an advertiser, especially those that are not resolved, will cause them to be banned from advertising.
I had a problem with an advertiser many years ago and Hemmings was great in helping to get my $$ back (no, I didn't pay with a credit card).

Yes they do care but not sure if Caddy King advertises there.

According to my reliable source, there's a couple well-known Cad repro parts suppliers that have had their hands slapped (and advertising withheld from the SS) the past couple years.

Great minds think alike !  The 1st thing i did was dispute the charge with my CC.  The 2nd thing I did was contact Hemmings (where I saw the ad in the 1st place), and filed a report.  The Hemmings CS folks are great - they even forwarded me all the BBB and CA. Dept of Consumer Affairs contact info.  The are ver concienscious about their credibility and how it can be affected by advertisers who are shady.  Also posted on ripoffreport.com and all of the forums I visit. Funny, when I shared my activity with Cadillac King, they quit responding altogether.  I told them that if they would like their part back, they will need to send me postage or a FedEx #.  If not, I'll send it back to them by the cheapest/slowest means available, and work the rest out with my CC Co.  They've been around for a long time, but when their first response was to call me a liar, they lit the fuse.  Thanks for all the input folks!

Hi folks.

Yet another vendor (for engine parts) is FalconGlobal on eBay.

Here is a direct link to their eBay website: http://stores.ebay.com/Falcon-Sales-e-Store

They're in Jacksonville, FL.  (800) 756-1114.  I've purchased gaskets from them but
they have most everything related to engine parts and engine kits (including water pumps
and that sort of thing).  Nice folks to deal with.

BTW this list is AWESOME!

You've bought from this company?  Are you sure that you aren't part of or somehow interconnected & associated with them?
They probably are nice folks and really I personally have no problem, but please tell it as it is.

I just happened to notice that your IP is Internal Engine Group which is what the toll free phone number is registered you posted.

Yes, Otto has created an awesome list.   Cheesy

I've bought many things from Falcon Global on Ebay.  Never any problems.  Parts look good.

I recently bought a power steering pump bracket for my 500, from the Arizona Vintage Parts place.  Seem like good folks to deal with.
