Thanks for all the input guys.

I'm DEFINITELY staying with Cadillac power.  Since I already had the heads rebuilt I will probably stick with a 429, although I'm tempted to try and sell them and switch over to a 472/500.  I like that saying about Chevy engines being for Fords, funny.  If I wanted a Chevy engine I would have bought an early 60's Impala.  I like that Cadillac engines are more rare and parts are harder to come by, part of the allure to me.  You have to research/find deals/buy the right parts/etc. to put the engine together.  Anyway, I"ll update my other thread about engine selection when I make a decision and am working on something.

I'd still love to see pics, what can I say I'm a visual guy.

Trevor if I could figure out how to post pics, I would be here all morning posting them. Got about 90 pics but they mostly chronicle what has been 7 months of an engine rebuild between parts shopping. Really have not done much to the body but thats ofcourse step twoYou are a brave soul my friend and hope I can be of help as well as all of us here in whatever you choose to embark on. Dont know where you are located but Trent over at brownesalvage@earthlink.net has been heck of a helpful guy at a really reasonable price if you happen to be in the market for a part that aint in your neck of the woods. All the best once more.
