Either color will look good, it just needs to be shiny. What's the name of the modern blue?

I just did the all the bushings on my 68. It just turned 50k miles and all the front end rubber needed replacement. I did the rears too, figured they're 40+ years old. They looked ok, but came apart pretty easily when the air hammer got near.

Lots of updates since I last posted here!

The frame shop did very well in my mind and got me all straightened up! In the above pictures I had quickly installed that upper A-arm mount (dont know specific name) backwards and that's creating majority of that positive camber. Received the car back from frame shop and immediately started putting parts back on!

Fixed my transmission line leaks and then found my fuel line was decayed and leaking, so replaced that. Did some minor tune-up stuff such as distributor cap/rotor plugs, filters.

Got the fender, hood, and front bumper finally back on!

Before work this morning drove it across town to have the exhaust done by the guy i tend to use; he ran dual 2-1/4" through my thrush dual chambers I supplied. Sounds and looks great, nice rumble and throaty sound at low and cruise speeds, but mellows out very well on the highway so you can hear your thoughts and use your phone with no problems! Pic is my dad cruising it across town, his first time driving it since it's now become 'road-worthy', he couldnt stop grinning haha:

Tonight I spent the night tackling down a few electrical issues. Was missing quite a few ground connections and also replaced my alternator that was on the car. Removed the front bumper, replaced the pass. end piece with dent in it and reinstalled MUCH more aligned! Also got the pass. headlight rings in and now thanks to all the grounds being in place and the alternator actually putting out a charge my lights seem to be working! With the help of an extra set of hands was able to finish up reinstalling the entire front end, though many of the little bits are installed with half of the original supplied hardware lol!

Now I just need to replace some bent rims to hopefully remove some 'shaking' I'm getting during speed, though the wheels are balanced on new tires my friend Scott who balanced them mentioned the rims were bent (some worse than others). Hopefully I can source enough straight ones from the parts car tomorrow and get this straightened out!

CRUISE HOME at 4am!
