3onthetree can you post some photos of the bracket you made along with the york compressor on your 65? That would be awesome. Also how are the shockwaves working out for you on your 65? What are your thoughts about this discussion using them on such a heavy car. Keeper said in a previous post that he is using a stock compressor on his 64? I thought this couldn't work. Anyone know more about this. Will it burn up the stock comp quickly. Keeper how long have you been running that set up for? Heck if that is a possibility and it fills the susp tank so fast, would it be possible to T the line and have AC and the suspension running off the stock compressor? Or am I only dreaming?
I have some photos on the build thread for my 65 Convertible here, but I will post some more for you. I agree about the shock waves, I am going to change them out and put some Slam Specialties in the front. I have to put so much pressure in the shockwaves to get the car to driving height, that is rides a little rough. I have never used a stock ac compressor for air ride application, if you use anything but a York, you will have to use an oiling system. The Yorks have an internal oiling system, and all others are oiled by the freon. I think someone answered it earlier, but you cannot tee it off to use the compressor for both AC and air supply. You would need to fab brackets for 2 compressors.
