Now all you need is an electronic recording module. Hook it up to a "horn" button. Record a blown 500 on a drag strip from YouBoob.

Carry camera at all times.

rock on Picked up 2 recording modules from Radio Shack today, and an adjustable voltage regulator to convert the 12V to 9V.  I think I am gonna hook one up to a key on the dash for when he starts it, cranking and starting with some revs...then the other with just a hot rod idle for 20 seconds hooked up to a pedal on the foot rest.

I had to do some mods to the recording module.  The button for playback was on the board, do I had to solder pins on the board to adapt the button to a key switch for the dash.  I put a bigger speaker out of an old boombox we had lying around, and I had to put a voltage regulator to get the power down to the 9V it needs.  I found a cool sound of a top fuel dragster idling and recorded 20 seconds worth of cool sound.

Here is a quick video of the car with the body on and the recording module running off the Ryobi battery power.

A quick video of the air ride test. I dont have the air cylinders yet, so I hooked up some old rs5's.  This is hooked up to my shop air tank, and running the valves off the Ryobi batter power.

Boy, that child of yours will have a lot of fun, that is if he can get you out of his car.

My wife says the same, I just use the kids as excuses to build cars...

I got the paintball air tank mounted and plumbed today.  I got the air cyliders mounted for the rear, and the regulator unerneath the front seat.  The regulator has an ouput of 0-155.

The first signs of life...I bet I hit the up switch 40 times and did not seem to put a dent in the air tank.  I would bet I am running 50psi max...I threw like 50 lbs of chain in the drivers seat to set the pressure close to what it will be when my kid is sitting in it.  Tomorrow I will work on the front mounts.

Looks like you need some smaller orifices to slow the rate of lift, or your Son will be tossed out of it. Wink

I can control the speed with the regulator too.  Little less pressure, nice to know I can toss him out if needed! Grin

Got the front mocked up now.  Body still not attached to the cylinders, so a little loud.  Still pretty fast on the up and down, so I will have to use slow downs on both.  I will fine tune that when I get the kid sitting in the car, of course I make the slow downs adjustable in the car, just in case he gets called out on the streets shh
