So his website said use caddy calipers, i get the brackets in the mail, says use C-10 calipers.

So i get the c-10, way cheaper, guess thats why?

Put them on, and now the metal line off the caliper hits my sway bar when turned, woo! This is with the car in the air, it might clear sitting on the ground. Concerned if the suspension unloads like pot hole etc in a turn it will hit.

The caddy caliper looks like it would be better since the line goes in at the very top next to the bleeder VS. the  middle of the puck on the back.

What combo do you guys use on yours?

I used that same kit, truck calipers, no clearance issues. The car isn't here for me to look at or snap a pic, unfortunately.
I recall being able to index the way the line came off the caliper so it cleared everything. There wasn't much adjustability, but enough. Maybe my hose assy is different than the one you're using.
The CarQuest part # for my hoses is BRK SP5753, the receipt also says "Interchange for BH36845"
Hope this helps

Pretty sure my calipers had that shape too. You might check the cross reference between your hoses and the ones I used. Would possibly save you some hassle, especially if there's already brake fluid in the new stuff.

That number has a banjo bolt fitting at the caliper.

vdubjim, does the hose you have have a banjo fitting?

What year C-10 calipers did you get?
I see a few different brake codes listed, so maybe that's part of the difference.

I notice that your line has rubber coming off the banjo. maybe i can just get those, then if it gets close the rubber wont get damaged like my metal ones would.

Your part number shows a 15" line, is that really long enough???

Are the calipers on the front of the rotors (front of the car), but the brake lines go to the rear in the factory location?  Do the bleeders end up on top?

The # i gave is the one off my receipt. Maybe the hose length is why. It just seemed to route right where it needed to be.
My brackets mounted up the same as your pics.

Your banjo on the same place as mine? Your line hit the sway bar?

I was curious because the factory disc brake setup has the caliper in front.  Is it symetrical such that it can be mounted either way?  Although it may require relocating the hard lines to the front.

My calipers are behind the spindle, just like your pic.
The hoses clear everything, but there isn't a lot of extra room. I think I would have clearance problems if the hoses were any longer. They sort of s-curved into the right shape to clear everything.

Look at my pic closer. The calipers are in front of the spindle.

Looks like BH36845 are 15" and BH36959 are 17". maybe ill try the 17.

I meant to the aft end of the car/spindle. Sorry for the mix-up.

Yes I'm mounted up the same as you, top bracket surface to the outside of the spindle, bottom to the inside.

Pretty sure the caliper hose mounting area is the same on mine. The banjo block may have a slight angle to it, pointing inwards toward the swaybar as I recall.
It's been a while, I put em on in January and didn't take any pics from the back side.

If I get a chance to go by the paint shop this week, I'll get a pic for you.
