Hello all,
The master cylinder on my 55 is leaking where the fill cap meets the cylinder. There is a aluminum sealing washer but the fluid leaks between the washer and the cylinder. I stopped at bumper to bumper and napa they do not have this size 1.5 o.d 1.25 i.d. also checked Grainger and McMaster Carr no luck. I just had the cylinder rebuilt. Has anyone else had this happen or do I have to bite the bullet and buy a new cylinder?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob Kielar

Why not find a rubber o-ring of the right size...don't see why that wouldn't work. just my two cents
